Music for all manner of thingsRisingRetina Music has been formed to enable the music that I've been involved in for some time to be made available to other people looking for something new.In 2008 I was looking for a new way to begin our worship meetings at Cromer Christian Fellowship and, as we'd just got hold of a projector and we already had a bit of decent PA gear I wondered whether I might be able to put together a weekly opening presentation which would encourage a gradual move from the social interaction to preparing hearts and minds for worship. I soon ran out of freely downloadable ambient music to accompany Powerpoint slides of images with excerpts of scripture overlaid so I thought, how difficult can it be? Close on 100 pieces of music later, I find I have a body of work which I would like to make available for anyone who wants to use it. If you choose to take advantage of the music, just please let me know. All the pieces are about 5 minutes long although some are slightly longer. I should really arrange them in some sort of order but, for now, they'll be in the order they were recorded. If you can't bring yourself to use mp3s then just let me know what you're most interested in and I'll get a CD burned. |
